We did it! Seven dashers made it out bright and early for the inaugural Pebble Dash run this morning and we were rewarded with glorious sunshine and lots of flat sand.
None of us knew what we were doing exactly but it worked. We found our way to the harbour arm and back again, feet wet but faces smiling. We started with about 20 minutes to go until a 1.2m tide, which was low enough to expose plenty of firm sand including under the pier. A couple of detours up and over groynes around goat ledge and a haul up past the incoming fishing boats just before the harbour arm were the only significant sections on stones.
